Antonia Kapretz, Education Consultant Futurium Berlin will welcome you to present her personal view on Berlin. She is born in Berlin, and in recent years, Antonia Kapretz has conducted conferences, short training courses and online media consultation for teachers as well as tablet training courses for school teachers as part of publicly funded projects “Digital Learning Berlin” to promote digital applications and projects in schools. She is now Educational Consultant at the Futurium in Berlin. Futurium is a House of Futures. Here everything revolves around the question: how do we want to live?

Harald Fladischer, Director neXenio Technologies whose company developed the Luca-App will talk about technology and the jobsituation for students in Berlin. He hires IT students on a frequently bases and has worked in different european countries. Born in Austria he made it to Berlin and will tell you about his personal view about deep tech and why Berlin is the place to be for IT Developers.
Bastian Behrmann, Foundercoach at the Beuth Startup Hub in Berlin is helping Startups with EXIST Business Start-up Grant and the Berlin Startup Stipendium. He is a passionate networker and familiar with the Berlin startup ecosystem and creates a wide variety of startup events. He already got in contact with some of our former Tek4 Epitech students in the past and knows Epitech Berlin from the very beginning. He will also talk about his time in the US and why Berlin is the place to be for start-up founders.
Raphaël Goncalves, Software Technical Lead at Spectrm and Head of the Facebook Developer Group shares his view on Berlin regarding his work as a developer, his events in the city which contain a large range of hackathons and also the meet-ups he organized for the Facebook Developer Group. Marie Dudragne, Lead UX at Ubisoft will tell you about her perspective on the city. She is french and knows how it feels to live and work in a melting pot like Berlin. She speaks english and french and just a little german and will let you know about her success at Ubisoft, the differences between France and Germany, the gaming industry and why Berlin is the place to be for game developers. Emy Gilson, Talent Acquisition Officer at Odoo Belgium, will welcome you on Teams and present to you the fastest growing IT company in Belgium. For the past three years, she has been involved in the recruitment of developers. Their mission is to release the most disruptive management software in the world: Odoo, fully open source, full-featured. She does not hesitate to find original ways to attract developers all over the world.
Guillaume Roux, Epitech alumnus (class of 2020), will share his experience as a 4th-year student in Brussels. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Sully Group since March 2020, Guillaume specializes in mobile applications development and, more precisely, Flutter – the cross-platform technology made by Google. The 4th-year curriculum at Epitech Brussels is what helped Guillaume discover his passion for this framework which now represents the core of his professional activity.
Vincent Defrenne – Cyber Strategy Director at NVISO – will tell you all about the Cybersecurity Challenge, an event Epitech Brussels is excited to partner up with. During this computer security competition, the challenges are brought forward by private corporations, banks, or public agencies and organizations to raise awareness on cybersecurity threats. He will give you some pointers on the Belgian ecosystem (beer aside). Two-thirds of this session will be reserved for a Q&A session on subjects like why Belgium lost to France at the World Cup. We invite you to meet Sébastien Chaumat, Senior Consultant Open-Source IT Architecture. Sébastien started computing on 8-bit computers in the 80s, taught Linux in the 90s, built e-learning platforms in the 2000’s, virtualized and defended infrastructures in the 2010s. He will teach you top-down security next year. Chances are he will also talk about investing in crypto or share some great security stories.
